New York – Streetphotos in bw
About a year ago I started to get interested in streetphotopgrahy and documentary photography. Recently I bought the book Streetphotography (Bättre bilder/ Streetfoto) by Eric Kim and it is just great – it gives you lots of advice about what to think about while taking streetphotos. This is a selection of photos in bw from my trip to New York. Above: Central Station

Gotland
This post is about Gotland, the largest island in Sweden that has fantastic nature as well as many cultural places to explore.
Hoburgen, at the southernmost tip of the island, where the road ends. Here you can see the famous sea-stack ‘Hoburgsgubben’.

Taberg – Beautiful view from the mountain
Recently I visited ‘Taberg’ in Småland.
Carl von Linné, the father of plants, named Taberg “the miracle in Småland”.
Not only that you can see almost all of Småland from the top, or rather 70 kilometers in all directions when the weather permits it, but on the sun warm south east side of the mountain you’ll find vegetation from the Alps in Europe — and if you look closer on the Hotel Taberg, it’s unavoidable to miss the link to the Alps. It’s of course here the town has settled.
A nice view with a golden chain-tree
This day it was a bit stormy and cold, but still worth a visit! I meet some tourists on the top.

Old town, Stockholm
Recently I made a trip to Stockholm (Sweden). It was a warm and sunny day that I enjoyed very much.
I took so many photo’s that I decided im gonna do more than one post about the city. So this first one is about the Old Town (Gamla stan) – the old part of Stockholm.
Although – I started with a stop at the amazing St Clara church (photo above) which is not a part of the Old town. It’s a very nice old church and worth a visit.
It’s located in the centre of the city – very close to Drottninggatan and Sergels torg. A choir held a concert in the meantime I was there, fantastic voices and beautiful
with all the candles.
This is taken from a bridge before you enter Rosenbad and Gamla stan. You can see the Royal Opera in the middle of the photo.
This is in the Old Town. Warm and sunny day so many people, including myself, enjoyed an ice cream in the shadow and dreaming, perhaps…
